BigUp’s Prediction Game lets you make predictions about an upcoming football match alongside an online community of like minded fans. If you make the correct predictions, you can win prizes.
This article explains the basics: what the Prediction Game is, how entering works, and the difference between Power Play and Flex Play at a high level.
What is the Prediction Game?
A Prediction Game is a contest where you:
Make predictions by answering simple yes/no questions about what will happen in the football match.
Build a “Pick Slip” by answering at least 2 predictions and at most 6 predictions.
Pick a play style (Power Play or Flex Play)
Submit before the entry deadline (lock time)
Track your predictions live as the match unfolds and see your results update in real time
How to enter a Prediction Game
Step 1: Open the Games page
Go to the Games page to see which creators are hosting a Prediction Game on BigUp. You’ll see:
Which football match a creator is hosting a Prediction Game for
The entry deadline for each Prediction Game.
Max prize that can be won for each Prediction Game
Step 2: Select which Prediction Game you want to participate in
On the Games, select the Prediction Game for a football match that you have knowledge about.
Step 3: Build your Pick Slip
Choose your "picks" from the list of available predictions. In order to enter a Prediction Game, you will need to pick between 2-6 predictions.
As you make predictions, you will see the Pick Bar appear at the bottom of your screen. You will notice that the more predictions you make, the higher your prize will be.
Step 3: Choose your play style (Power Play or Flex Play)
Before submitting, you’ll choose one of two play styles:
Power Play: Higher risk, higher potential reward
Flex Play: More forgiving, lower risk

Step 4: Choose your entry amount (if applicable)
Enter your entry amount from the list of available options.
For Prediction Games hosted by creators in Spain, the entry price is fixed; you are not allowed to wager.
Your entry amount and potential rewards will be shown before you submit.
Step 5: Submit your entry before the deadline
Once you submit:
Your entry is confirmed
Your Pick Slip is locked
You can follow your results live during the match. You will also be able to join a live stream where a content creator will provide live commentary of the football match.
What happens after you enter?
Your picks will show as Pending until they resolve.
As games progress, picks update in real time.
You can see how your winnings compare with everyone else on the Leaderboard.
Important: We have a manual process to review all predictions at the end of the football match to make sure all predictions are resolved correctly. This may cause a delay in seeing your final results or getting your winnings from the Prediction Game.

You must get all picks correct to win
Typically offers a bigger payout/reward compared to Flex Play
Flex Play (safer, more forgiving)
Best for users who want a more forgiving option
You may still win even if not every pick is correct (depending on your results)
Typically offers a smaller payout/reward than Power Play for the same entry
