All picks on BigUp are resolved based on 90 minutes of regular time plus any stoppage time added by the referee. Extra time and penalty shootouts are not included. This article explains exactly what counts for every type of pick.
What counts as regular time?
A standard football match consists of two 45-minute halves. Referees add stoppage time (also called injury time) at the end of each half to make up for delays. All of this counts.
Extra time — the additional 30 minutes played in some knockout matches when the score is level after 90 minutes — does not count. Neither does a penalty shootout.

Summary
The simple rule: if it happens before the 90-minute whistle (including stoppage time), it counts. If it happens after — extra time, penalties — it doesn't.
